Our Founder & Creative Director, Georgie Austin, has a longstanding family history in the garment and wool industry, dating back to her great-grandfather’s establishment of Thomas S. Beaumont & Sons - a prominent trader of Australian Superfine Merino Wool and the first of four generations in the textile industry. This family history in the wool industry inspired Georgie to create Cable in 2007.

For 17 years, Cable has supported the Australian Wool industry, working with local farmers to produce our much-loved Merino Collections.

Cable is available at its 18 retail locations and numerous independent boutiques nationwide.
